I’m going to let you in on a little secret that may surprise you…don’t tell anyone, ok? Metals isn’t what I’m passionate about. Now, I know metal – I’ve been around metal my entire life. My favorite place to play after school and summers was my father’s iron shop in Brooklyn where my brother and I would climb on the racks of steel tube and bar.
My first job out of college in the 90’s was trading flat rolled steel for a Fortune 50 company in New York City, and I am still in the metals business today. I’ve spent all this time around metals yet it was never the product itself I fell in love with.
